Want to help animals in your community? “Top to Top” is a new program to build local community coalitions between animal care and control agencies and veterinarians. These partnerships are being established to promote common goals of both entities, and will be focused on the animal health and welfare needs of your own community. If your organization would like to be considered as one of only eight chosen for participation in a pilot study of this exciting endeavor, we are accepting applications. Materials to help you get started are provided below, and the pilot is scheduled to take place during the second and third quarters of 2012. We will be benchmarking and following various adoption and health statistics. Your participation will result in a data-driven and result-oriented initiative, laying an important, validated foundation for communities to work together.
Not quite ready to be part of the pilot study? Use the materials to celebrate and strengthen the bonds between people and pets in your area!
